As much as i hate JKR i will not tolerate any slander or hatred aimed towards the kids that get casted in the Harry Potter reboot.
If they get accurate aged kids then they’re gonna be between 10-12/13 years old to represent year 7’s (11-12.) Chances are they’re child actors aiming for a big break which shouldn’t be biased on who they author of the books are or they are being pushed by their parents which is something that happens more often than not.
I refuse. point blank refuse to fuckin ‘cancel’ any kids casted. They are children and they deserve a chance.

This was purposeful. The ex lead designer is alt right and ran an alt right “anti social justice” youtube channel. The discovery of this channel and the resulting controversy lead to him later being removed from the project late in development but the main premise of the game was determined by him and others with his views.
The core concept of this game is antisemitic and fully intended to be. It is not a case of thoughtless devs or lack of cultural sensitivity. This game is intended to be antisemitic propaganda designed and developed by openly alt right devs.
Troy Leavitt is the alt-right, openly antisemitic, racist and misogynistic developer. His name was taken off the headlines after his “unsavory side” came out but he was in chagne in its early stages. As for the rest of the main credited people: Moira Squier is the game writer, Alan Tew is the director, James Cabrera is the lead producer. The existence of this thing is the product of a team’s imagination, and the vile antisemitism, which has been built upon and taken to extremes over time in the franchise is a collaboration. Everyone high up in the dev team either did this on purpose or endorsed it.

Thank you for the specific names. Yes it was a purposeful team effort and Troy Leavitt went on record as saying that he made WB well aware of his youtube channel and they had no problem with it. He said he was glad they didn’t seem interested in pushing a “social justice agenda”. He voluntarily left the team due to public backlash to his youtube channel (which he still runs). He was not removed by WB or Avalanche Software. Everyone involved in the project in any kind of higher up position was well aware of his history of alt right work and knowingly endorsed it.

No, JKR wasn’t involved in the game, and it’s actively intended to be trans-positive. Yes, she gets money from it, and will likely donate some of that to anti-trans causes. But even if you pirate the game so she doesn’t make any money off of it, you’re still going to be be playing the fucking Protocols of the Elders of Gringotts.
JKR has been making her money off the backs of Jewish people since the first HP novel she published back in 1997.

This lie also silences Hitler’s murder of Romani people, queer people, neurodivergent and mentally ill people, and so many other marginalized groups.
JKR stole Jewish people’s cultural trauma to write her books, and then she ensured that virtually no one in the books except for one forgettable side character is Jewish.

One thing I have not seen mentioned in light of this statement, perhaps because it’s just well known or perhaps because it’s been forgotten, is that Radcliffe has dealt with this before. About 10 years ago his friendship with a trans musician named Our Lady J became known to the tabloids. They immediately published sensational articles calling her a transvestite and a drag queen (she was not), and speculating about the nature of their relationship. He responded to insinuating questions by simply being aggressively positive about what a great musician and good friend she was. They did at least one interview together for a queer magazine. This at a time when trans people were even more marginalized than now, and when he as an actor was finishing Harry Potter and under a lot of pressure to ~manage his image~ as he transitioned to an adult career.
TL;DR - Radcliffe has a record of not just saying nice things, but supporting trans people in his life.
