Harry Potter Headcanon

Gregory Goyle married Milicent Bullstrode.   Their only child, a daughter, was sorted into Ravenclaw, and was always at the top of her class.

Voldemort had been rather young when he chose his new name.   Later in life he regretted taking on the ridiculous sounding pseudonym, and was relieved when people started referring to him as “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named” and “You-Know-Who”

Anyway if anyone wants to be friends with a Slytherin…

Merope Gaunt waited patiently for her son for eternity. At first she had hoped he would change his ways, but it slowly became her own self inflicted punishment for not being there for her son. After all, there first thing you kill when you make a horcrux is your own innocence.

TRIGGER WARNING

Ron caught Harry trying to kill himself through cutting in first year after christmas. Ron stopped him, talked him out of it, stayed up with him all night, and helped him throw out his razors. After Cedric, Ron helped Harry through every nightmare. After Sirius died, Harry didn’t even have a chance to think about cutting before Ron was in the room already talking him out of it.  That was why Harry never understood why Ron didn’t think of himself as a hero or even important.

The moment Lily and James Potter went “on” they looked for a park bench to sit on and wait for Harry. The only one they could find had another mother waiting patiently for her son. Lily became good friends with this woman. Her name was Merope Gaunt.

Dolores Umbridge fought for the Death Eaters at the Battle of Hogwarts, although she was under the Imperius Curse. During the fighting, she faced Professor McGonagall. McGonagall took care of her by turning her into a toad.

More of an assertion than a headcanon

Harry did not receive another scar from the Avada Kedavra in the forest, because the Avada Kedavra itself leaves no physical injury (other than death, of course).

Furthermore, since the scar on his forehead was made by the piece of Voldemort’s soul, after that piece was destroyed, the scar itself finally began to fade (but not entirely).

Hogwarts was not the only battleground on May 2, 1998. As the defenders of Hogwarts fought against Voldemort’s army, hundreds of miles away, in the North Sea, a single ship rose out of the waves, sailing toward the island prison of Azkaban.

The few Death Eaters and Dementors that remained to guard the prisoners saw the ship sailing directly to them. As it got closer they saw that the mast bore the Durmstrang crest, before the cannons fired at the fortress’s walls.

This ship was captained by none other than Viktor Krum.

After James made the Quidditch team, Harry made a point to never miss a game. Even when he was called into work on the day of a match to track down a criminal, he turned up halfway through the game, his Stunned and bound prisoner in tow, just in time to see his son catch the Snitch.
